Clara Andrashko, infant daughter of Mrs. Clara Andrashko, passed away at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Andrashko, 921 Eighth street, this morning at 7:15 o'clock.
Deceased was 1½ years of age. The funeral will be held Saturday morning at 8 o'clock from St. Vincent's Catholic church. Rev. Alois Bastian will officiate. Interment will be at Riverside cemetery.

Miss Marie Andrashko, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Andrashko, 912 Seventh street, died Saturday evening at 7:20 o'clock. She was born in this city May 8, 1895, and had lived herre all her life.
She is survived by her parents; five brothers, John, Albert, Aloys, Carl and Frank Andrashko, all of this city; and two sisters, Mrs. Leo Cholewinski, of Oshkosh, and Mrs. Louis LaBuwi, of Pontiac, Michigan.
The funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 8 o'clock from St. Vincent's church. Burial will be at Riverside cemetery. The remains may be viewed at the home until the time of services.

Mrs. Hermina Andrashko, wife of John Andrashko, 912 Seventh street, died early this morning as the result of a lingering illness. She was born Sept. 27, 1873, in Czechoslavakia, and came to America in 1891. She was married to Mr. Andrashko here that same year. Mrs. Andrashko was a member of St. Vincent's parish and of the Christian Mothers' society of St. Vincent's church.
Survivors are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Leo Cholewinski and Mrs. Louis LaBuwi, both of Oshkosh; and five sons, John Jr., Albert, Aloys, Carl and Frank Andraschko, all of Oshkosh. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Frank Drexler, Oshkosh, and Mrs. Anna A?????? and Mrs. Mary Lemberger, who lives in Czechoslavakia.
Funeral services were held at 8:30 o'clock at the home, 912 Seventh street, Thursday morning and at 9 o'clock at St. Vincent's Catholic church. The Rev. Aloys Bastian officiated. Burial was at Riverside cemetery. The pallbearers were Frank Drexler, John Schoenberger, Carl Kempoinger, Adolph Bloesl, Richard Reif and Wenzel Putzer.
Anna Penzenstadler, nee Andraschko | 7 & 9 January 1936 |
Mrs. Anna Penzenstadler, widow of Edward Penzenstadler, died last night at 7:30 o'clock at her home at 1316 Ninth street following a heart attack. She was born in Austria, Nov. 26, 1857, and came to this country with her husband in 1890. Mr. Penzenstadler preceded her in death 10 years ago. The deceased was a member of Sacred heart church and belonged to the Christian Mothers' society of that church.
Surviving are two daughters, Therese Penzenstadler and Mrs. Joseph Robideau and three sons, John Penzenstadler and Killian Penzenstadler, all of Oshkosh, and Aloysis of Aurora, Ill.; also two sisters who reside in Austria and 48 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Thursday morning at 9 o'clock from the church. Burial will be at Riverside cemetery. Grandsons of the deceased served as pallbearers. They were: Leo, Julius, Frank, Robert and Carl Penzenstadler and Stanley Wiener. Among those present from out of the city were Mr. and Mrs. Aloys Penzenstadler and the Misses Mary Lou and Jeanette Penzenstadler, Aurora, Ill., and Edward Wiener, Chicago.

A short illness resulted in the death Sunday morning at 9:30 o'clock at his home, 919 Seventh street, of John Andrashko Jr., 44. He was born in this city Jan. 28, 1893 and had lived in Oshkosh all his life. Mr. Andrashko was assistant superintendent at the Radford Company plant for a number of years.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Rose Andrashko; four children, Mary Jane, Betty Rose, Ruth and John Andrashko III; his father, John Andrashko; four brothers, Albert, Aloys, Charles, and Frank Andrashko, Oshkosh; and two sisters, Mrs. Leo Chelowinski and Mrs. Louise LaBuwi, also of this city.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 8:30 o'clock at the residence and at 9 o'clock at St. Vincent's Catholic church. The Rev. Aloys Bastian will officiate. Burial was at Riverside cemetery. The pallbearers were Albert, Aloys, Charles and Frank Andrashko, and Aloys and George Kinderman. Those present from out of the city were George Ruedinger, Milwaukee; Miss Barbara Drexler, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Mathew Riedl and family, Stevens Point; and John Kinderman, South Bend, Ind.

John Andrashko, 912 Seventh street, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Leo Cholewinski, 917 Tenth street, at 7 o'clock Sunday morning. Death followed an illness of several weeks. Mr. Andraschko was born in Germany, Nov. 18, 1865. He had lived in Oshkosh since 1892.
Survivors are four sons, Albert, Aloys, Carl and Frank Andraschko, all of Oshkosh, and two daughters, Mrs. Leo Cholewinski and Mrs. Agnes LaBuwi, of this city. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Caroline Reif and Mrs. John Schoenberger, Oshkosh, and Mrs. Barbara Nebel, who lives in Germany.
Funeral services will be held at the Poklasny funeral home Wednesday morning at 8:30 o'clock and at St. Vincent's Catholic church at 9 o'clock. The Rev. Aloys Bastian will be the officiating clergyman. Burial will be at Riverside cemetery. The pallbearers were Alois Drexler, Wenzel Drexler, Albert Andraschko, Richard Reif, Adolph Bloesl, and Joseph Schoenberger.

Mrs. Caroline Reif, 86, an Oshkosh resident 56 years, passed away this morning at 2:30 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Roy Biebel, 383 Monroe avenue. Death was caused by infirmities incident to her advanced age. She was born in Germany Aug. 26, 1861. Her husband, Carl, preceded her in death in 1909. They were married May 30, 1891. Mrs. Reif was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic church and the Christian Mothers society.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Biebel, Mrs. Matt Schmitz; three sons, Richard, Charles and Hugo; a sister, Mrs. John Schoenberger, all of Oshkosh; 18 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Vincent's church with the Rev. Leo Ott in charge. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery. Pallbearers: Leonard, Harold, Robert and Jack Reif, Roy and Donald Biebel. Honorary pallbearers: Mrs. Anton Ilk, Mrs. John Glaeser, Mrs. George Gelhardt, Mrs. Elizabeth Hannes, Mrs. Anton Pable and Mrs. Walter E. Herdina.

Mrs. Mary Schoenberger, 75, of 833 Sixth street, died at her home at 1 o'clock this morning following a lingering illness. Born Nov. 28, 1875 in Austria, she came to Oshkosh with her parents in 1898. She was married Sept. 18, 1898 at St. Vincent's Catholic church to the late John Schoenberger. She was a member of St. Vincent's church and of the Christian Mothers' society.
Surviving are four daughters and four sons, Miss Mary Schoenberger, Mrs. Joseph Heiser, Mrs. Richard Binder, Mrs. Norman Mirkes and Joseph, Charles, William and Albert Schoenberger, all of this city; 20 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 o'clock Thursday morning at Poklasny funeral home and at 9 o'clock at St. Vincent's church, with the Rt. Rev. Aloys Bastian officiating. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 o'clock this evening.

Aloys H. Andrashko, 59, of 537 School Ave., died unexpectedly of a coronary at 1:40 o'clock Sunday morning at Mercy Hospital. He was born on Feb. 3, 1900 in Oshkosh and was married to Ann McLain on Jan. 31, 1953, also in this city.
Mr. Andrashko lived in Oshkosh all his life and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Catholic Order of Foresters and Millwork Union 1363. He was employed by Morgan Company. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II from Sept. 29, 1942 to Feb. 4, 1943, when he received an honorable discharge.
Surviving are his wife, Ann; three brothers, Albert, Charles and Frank, all of Oshkosh; one sister, Mrs. Fred Janke, Fond du Lac; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 8 a.m. Wednesday at Fiss & Bills Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul DuCharme officiating and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary's Church.

Albert H. Andrashko, 67, of 442 W. Eighth Ave., died Saturday at 1:40 p.m. at Mercy Hospital, following an extended illness. He was born in Oshkosh on April 7, 1898, and was married here to Katherine Hoetschl on Oct. 10, 1936. Mr. Andrashko had been employed by Radford Co. until his retirement. He was a member of St. Vincent Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife Katherine; two brothers, Charles and Frank Andrashko, Oshkosh; and one sister, Mrs. Fred Jahnke, Fond du Lac.
Services will be held Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. at Poklasny Funeral Home and 9 a.m. at St. Vincent Catholic Church, with the Rt. Rev. Louis M. Schorn officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

An Oshkosh man died of carbon monoxide poisoning early Sunday as he apparently tried to warm up his car in a closed garage. Police said F. Peter Andrashko, 26, of 508 Otter Ave., was dead when found seated in his garaged car by a brother Sunday noon. The main garage doors were closed while a smaller door was open. The car was not running, but the battery was dead and the ignition was reported turned on. Coroner Art C. Miller said death resulted from carbon monoxide fumes.
Police accounts said Andrashko apparently decided to warm up his car after returning from a night out with his brother-in-law. Police said the drive from the last stop, a restaurant, was too short to warm up the car.
The young man had been with the Navy from Sept. 20, 1964, until his discharge last Dec. 20, having served one year in the Vietnam zone on the USS Caster, and had joined the Naval Reserve.
He was born in Oshkosh on Nov. 24, 1942, son of Frank and Lois Andrashko, graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1962 and attended Oshkosh Technical Institute for one year. He formerly worked in the Belson grocery store on South Main Street, and was a member of Wesley Methodist Church.
Surviving besides his parents are one sister, Mrs. Gertrude Schuhart, Oshkosh; four brothers, David, Paul and Mark Andrashko, Winneconne, and a stepgrandmother, Mrs. Henry Schwertfeger, Oshkosh.
Services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Seefeld Funeral Home, with the Rev. James L. Vahey, pastor of Wesley Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Salem Evangelical Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 4-9 p.m.

Mrs. Marie Schroeder, 84, of 921 Kansas St., died Tuesday at 12:15 p.m. at Mercy Hospital. She was born in Austria on July 2, 1884, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wenzel Andrashko, and was married here on Oct. 28, 1907, to Rudolph Schroeder, who preceded her in death in 1959. Mrs. Schroeder was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Misses Mary and Rose Schroeder, Oshkosh, and Mrs. Hollis O'Brien, Oshkosh, and four sons, Rudolph, Michael, Henry and Carl Schroeder, Oshkosh.
Services will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. at Poklasny Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert Klein officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Mark W. Andrashko, 16, of 508 Otter Ave., was pronounced dead on arrival Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at Mercy Medical Center. He was born in Oshkosh on Aug. 30, 1955, son of Frank and Lois Andrashko, and attended the Oshkosh Cerebral Palsy Center.
Surviving besides the parents are three brothers, David, John and Paul; and one sister, Mrs. Gerald Schuhart, Oshkosh; and a grandmother, Mrs. Henry Schwertfeger, Oshkosh.
Services will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. at Seefeld Church Avenue Chapel, with the Rev. James L. Vahey, pastor of Wesley Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Salem Evangelical Cemetery. Friends may call at the Church Avenue Chapel today from 5-9 p.m.

Mrs. Ann Andrashko, 61, died Saturday at 1 p.m. at Pleasant Acres, where she had been four years. She had been ill six months. She was born in Calgary, Canada, on March 2, 1912, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John McLain, and was married in Oshkosh on Jan. 31, 1952, to Alois Andrashko, who preceded her in death on June 14, 1959. Mrs. Andrashko was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Surviving is one sister, Mrs. Harold (Hilda) Damerow, Oshkosh.
Services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Konrad Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ronald W. Meier, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 5-8 p.m.

Mrs. Mary Bloesl, 80, of 608 W. Eighth Ave., died today at 7:30 a.m. at Mercy Medical Center. She was born in Austria on March 10, 1894, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frans Andrashko, and was married there on Oct. 9, 1913, to Adolph Bloesl, who preceded her in death in 1948. Mrs. Bloesl was a member of St. Vincent Catholic Church, the Women's Society of the church and Court 1023 of Catholic Order of Foresters.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Mini) Koch and Mrs. Wilbur (Marion) Schmid, Oshkosh; four sons, Adolph, Arthur, Frank and Royal Bloesl, Oshkosh; one sister, Mrs. Rosa Muller, in Germany; 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at Poklasny Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Vincent Catholic Church, with the Rev. Robert Sladek officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Mrs. Katherine Andrasko, of 442 E. Eighth Ave., died today at 3:45 a.m. at Mercy Medical Center, following an extended illness. A lifelong resident of Oshkosh, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hoetschel, and was married to Albert Andrasko, who preceded her in death in 1965. Mrs. Andrasko had been employed 35 years at J. C. Penney Co. store here before retiring. She was a member of St. Vincent Catholic Church and honorary member of the Christian Women's Society.
There are no immediate survivors.
Services will be held Wedesday at 9 a.m. at Poklasny Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. at St. Vincent Catholic Church, with the Rev. Eugene Schmidt officiating. The Rev. Richard Getchel will be co-celebrant. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Frank S. Andrashko, 66, of 508 Otter St., Oshkosh, died Tuesday evening in Fond du Lac after a lengthy illness. He was born Dec. 28, 1911 in Oshkosh, the son of John and Hermina Meisl Andrashko. He married Lois Schwertfeger in Oshkosh on Oct. 9, 1937. Mr. Andrashko worked 17 years for C. E. Morgan before retiring in 1974. He was a member of Carpenters and Joiners Union 1363 and St. Vincent Catholic Church. In his younger days, he was active in baseball and basketball.
Surviving are the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Mary Ellen) Schuhart, Oshkosh; three sons, David of Oshkosh, John of Winneconne and Paul of Eau Claire; a sister, Mrs. Fern (Audrey Janke, Fond du Lac; a brother, Charles, Oshkosh; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Seefeld Church Avenue Funeral Chapel, the Revs. James Vahey and Frank Vande Loo officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral chapel from 4-8 p.m. Thursday. A memorial has been established.

Charles F. Andrasko, 75, Oshkosh, died this morning at the home of his son in the town of Grafton. He was born May 18, 1908, the son of John and Hermina Andrasko. Mr. Andrasko, a World War II veteran, was a retired carpenter.
Surviving are four sons, Thomas, Neil and Bruce, all of Oshkosh, and Dr. Kevin Andrasko, Grafton; one sister, Audrey La Buwi, Fond du Lac; and three grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. in Poklasny Funeral Home, the Rev. Eugene Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.

Lois L. Andrashko, 68, Oshkosh, died Monday evening in Mercy Medical Center. She was born July 13, 1916, in Oshkosh, the daughter of Henry and Lillian Priepke Schwertfeger. She married Frank Andrashko, Oct. 9, 1937, in Oshkosh. He died June 6, 1978. Mrs. Andrashko was a nurse's aide at Mercy Medical Center. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and a volunteer for St. Vincent de Paul.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Mary Ellen) Schuhart, Oshkosh; three sons, David, Oshkosh, John, Winneconne, and Paul, Eau Claire; one brother, Dale Schwertfeger, Oshkosh; one sister, Mildred Jensen, Oshkosh; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Rose M. Andrasko, 95, of Oshkosh, died this morning in Mercy Medical Center. She was born Nov. 6, 1892, in Oshkosh, the daughter of John and Eleanore (Kellerman) Kinderman. She married John Andrashko Oct. 4, 1921. He preceded her in death. She is a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mary Jane Bloch and Ruth Vanek, both of Oshkosh, and Betty Schneider of Milwaukee; one son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Lois of St. Louis Park, Minnesota; three sisters, Mary Mueller and Betty Schmitz, both of Oshkosh, and Anna Riedi, of De Pere; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the Poklasny Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Vincent Catholic Church, with the Rev. Eugene Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

David Lynn Andrashko, age 71, of Oshkosh, died Monday morning, September 10, 2012, at his residence. Born on January 2, 1941, in Oshkosh, to Frank and Lois (Schwertfeger) Andrashko, David married Sharon Ellner on August 4, 1962. On October 29, 1983, David married Mary Jane Davis Felker at Wesley United Methodist Church in Oshkosh.
He was employed by Shepards Construction for 10 years as their accountant. The next 30 years David was employed by Park View Health Center, as an accountant in the business office, until his retirement. He also served as an accountant to various Oshkosh business firms. His love of all sports showed throughout his life, especially baseball, Packer games, camping, traveling, and crossword puzzles. David enjoyed working in his vegetable garden.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Jane Andrashko; three sons, Gary Andrashko, Kelly (Kathy) Andrashko, and Troy Andrashko; two stepchildren, Dr. Daniel (Dr. Victoria) Felker and Penny (Dr. Theodore Cooke) Felker; four grandchildren, Matthew Andrashko, Jennifer (Nathaniel) Engler, Theodore Cooke IV, and Elizabeth Cooke; two great-grandchildren, Jasmine Engler and Lily Engler; three siblings, Mary Ellen (Gerald) Schuhart, John (Barbara) Andrashko, and Paul (Sonya) Andrashko. Preceding David in death is his son, David Lynn Andrashko Jr., his parents, and two brothers, Mark and Peter Andrashko.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 14, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. in Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street, with Reverend Jakes Voker officiating. Interment will be in Salem Cemetery. A time of visiting and sharing of memories will be held on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral chapel.

Agnes "Audrey" T. Janke, 86, formerly of 335 S. Main St., and a resident of the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home for the past years, died Friday, Nov. 22, 1991, at her residence. She was born Jan. 18, 1905, in Oshkosh, a daughter of John and Hermina Meisel Andrashko. On June 27, 1926, she married Lewis LaBuwi. He preceded her in death in November of 1938. On Aug. 19, 1946, she married Fred Janke. He died on March 22, 1986. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Chertes and Mrs. Carol Schneider and her husband Donald, both of Fond du Lac; one son, Thomas LaBuwi and his wife Judy of Reistertown, Maryland; one stepson, Lionel Janke and his wife Beverly of Redwood City, California; two stepdaughters, Lois Lerch and her husband Richard of Nekoosa and Margaret Schmitz and her husband Leonard of Ripon; 19 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by two sons, Royal and James LaBuwi.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday from Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, with the Rev. Patrick Heppe officiating. Burial will take place at Oaklawn Cemetery in the Town of Black Wolf. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m Monday at the funeral home.

Mary Jane Bloch, age 87 of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully at her home with her family at her side on Wednesday morning March 17, 2010. She was born in Oshkosh on February 12, 1923, the daughter of John and Rose (Kinderman) Andrashko. She married Scott Bloch in Oshkosh. She was a faithful member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Oshkosh. She was employed at Hoffmaster Corporation as a secretary to Barney and then Tom Hoffmaster for over 50 years.
Mary Jane is survived by one brother, Jack (Lois) Andrashko of Golden Valley, Minnesota; two sisters, Betty Schneider and Ruth (Martin) Vanek, both of Oshkosh. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Even though Mary Jane had no children of her own, she was a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to many. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Scott in 1976, brother-in-law Alvin Schnieder and nephew Eric Schneider.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday march 20, 2010 at 11 am. at St. Jude Catholic Church (Sacred Heart Site on the corner of 6th Ave. and Knapp Street). Father Thomas Reynebeau will be the celebrant. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 11 a.m. Private committal service will be held at a later date.
